Yes – this was my topic. I tend to think it’s like how all the birds and little animals and bugs outside hide, when it’s storming. If the “weather outside is frightful” my aliens take cover.
Also – I think if they feel like there is no room or place for them, or that no one wants them (including me) – they might stay inside more too. At least I’m pretty sure this is what happened. I know I don’t like to be anywhere where I’m not wanted.
