    Tough question. I am not very good at it yet. Still working on just observing what happens inside me. I have been able to ask some questions inside and feel some emotional responses. But then there are couple more “overt” parts of me, and I am always talking out loud (my whole life). I am suspecting now that this constant talking to myself has probably helped several parts of me be aware of what is going on. To lay down memories in several. I think might have helped me cope before I really understood what was happening inside me.

    Getting information, not so much. Sharing information, slightly better.

    What I have learned that I can do is when I’m laying awake and unable to sleep I just say to “myself” “Ok guys, everyone to bed!” Then I “read” them a bedtime story that I have memorized and everyone goes to sleep and then I can go to sleep myself.
