Can you recognize times in the past or present that you could label as ‘crazy-making’? Ie; someone keeps telling you the sky is green, even though you are clearly looking at a blue sky. Talk about anything related to ‘crazy-making’.

well… most interactions with my family count in this category. it’s like they do some of the stuff just… not even on purpose. it just happens. it’s like denial is their natural way of being in the world.
also, i have some friends and other people who are close to me who have their own issues. some that i suspect of having Borderline personality. and it’s really difficult to remember that even if they are *saying* something that upset them is my fault, it’s not. and that takes a lot of energy to deal with.
there are other situations that kind of fall into this category, but those are the ones i’m thinking of right now.
